Since it's first edition, Carolyn has spoken across the country, helping coaches' wives feel understood. She has been a coach's wife thirty-two years to Randy Allen, head football coach at Highland Park High School in Dallas, Texas. He is the author of Coaching By The Book - The Purpose and Passion of a High School Coach. They have two married children and five grandchildren.
